    • 2015 Chevy Volt has been my favorite car!

I've had our 2015 Chevy Volt since 2016, 8 years now and have never had any problems. It's great in electric mode, and has been everything we've needed it for. Saving money on gas over the past 8 years, helping us avoid gas stations. We only have had to get gas seldomly; mostly for out of town trips and that is great freedom! The car is built well. The seats are very comfy. The biggest downside we've experienced, is the back seat can get warm driving with the glass above your head and we now keep a couple brimmed hats in the back for people riding back there midday.
    • Great vehicle for in-town driving

Purchased this vehicle back in September 2013. GM claimed 36 miles a charge. Summer driving, the car got 53 miles to a charge, winter driving 36 miles per charge. First winter drove the vehicle in a few bad winter storms (snow and Ice), due to batteries in the middle of the vehicle, the car stayed in lane without much drifting. Busted through snow drifts without any problems. 11 years later, the summer driving we get 46 miles to a charge and 32 miles in the winter. This car does have a generator that runs when needed on Highway or when the temperatures drop below 15 Degrees Fahrenheit. Tank full is 8 gallons. Generally we use maybe 10 gallons of fuel a year. 95 % of gas used is from the low winter Temps. Love the car due to not having to go to a gas station. All we do is go home and plug it in. It's always charged for the next day. I don't like using gas so this car is not used for driving on Highway, at 55+ miles per hour, the battery is depleted fast . We used it to go to work (10 miles each way) grocery store, church, etc. Long highway trips we use a regular gas vehicle.
    • Used Volt is a good buy... easy to maintain

Even though it far out of warrantee, the Volt (Premium) in my case, seems to be a very economical used Plug-in Hybrid that has range (9 gallons of gas and 11KW of battery power). With a 38 mile all electric range (after which it turns into a hybrid basically) and 4 DRIVING MODE options, this can be a great cheap vehicle. Back seat space is the worst thing about this car but for kids it's OK. Hatch back cargo room is very good for a compact car. The handling is very good and peppy! Change oil and tires once in a great while and that's about it. Enjoy!
