About the 2026 GMC Sierra 2500 HD
The 2026 GMC Sierra 2500 HD can be configured to your liking. Choose between a gas-powered V8 or a turbocharged diesel V8 engine. Cab styles come in regular, double, or crew. You can also choose between a standard or long bed. Max tow capacity for the 2500 HD is rated at 22,500 pounds.
Technology Highlights
The Sierra 2500 HD comes with a standard 7-inch infotainment screen, or you can upgrade to an 8- or 13.4-inch screen. Bluetooth and wireless phone compatibility are included. GMC provides three audio setups to choose from. A 15-view camera system can also be added to the options.

GMC offers the Sierra 2500 HD in seven different trim levels, making it highly customizable. Upgrading to at least the SLT trim includes GMC's MultiPro tailgate, heated steering wheel and front seats, and a remote start. Even the features in the bed can be optioned with LED lights, movable tie-downs, and a 120-volt outlet.
